Terms & Conditions

The formal stuff, in plain sight. Subscriptions are sold by Good Post Co, who handle the business side for us — so the terms you agree to are theirs, and they are linked below. The short version has not changed: we send letters, you can cancel anytime, and we'll always try to be fair.

Since 20 September 2026, subscriptions to This Good Life are sold by Sendero Origen, LLC d/b/a Good Post Co. They take the payment and look after the subscription; Emma writes the letters and mails them.

So the terms that govern your subscription are theirs, and they are linked below rather than repeated here. Two copies of an agreement is one of them going out of date.

  1. Who you are buying from

Your subscription is sold to you by Sendero Origen, LLC d/b/a Good Post Co, an Oklahoma limited liability company, at 3126 S Boulevard St #154, Edmond, OK 73013.

They are the seller of record. That means they take the payment, decide and collect any sales tax, send the receipt, and handle refunds, card disputes and cancellation. Their name is the one that appears on your card statement and on every receipt.

  2. The terms that apply to your subscription

When you subscribe you agree to the terms below, on their site. They cover the subscription, automatic renewal, payment, cancellation and refunds, and they are the ones that govern.

The two sections further down this page are ours, and they are additional rather than instead: they cover the letters themselves, which is the one thing the seller’s terms leave to us. If the two ever seem to disagree about a subscription, theirs is the one that counts.

  3. What This Good Life does

Emma writes the monthly letter, chooses the small paper keepsake that goes with it, and mails them both. This website is where she writes about the letters; it does not take payments and holds no subscriber details of its own.

  4. What the letters are, and what they are not

Emma writes about real life — marriage, motherhood, family, funny moments, hard seasons, and the faith that carries her through. It is one person's account of her own life, written the way you would write to a friend.

It is not professional advice and should not be read as any: not medical, not mental health, not legal, not financial. If a letter arrives in a week when you need one of those, please go and get it from somebody qualified to give it. Emma would tell you the same.

  5. The letters are yours to keep

Everything in the envelope is yours. Read it twice, read it out loud, show it to a friend, pin it to the fridge, keep it in a shoebox for thirty years. All of that is the point of it.

What Emma asks is that her letters, photographs and artwork are not republished, sold, or used to make something else that is sold, without asking her first. She writes them for the person they are mailed to rather than for the internet.

  6. Where to write

A question about a payment, a receipt, a refund or a cancellation goes to support@goodpostco.com, and a real person answers.
